What is Project Noel?

Project Noel AltusThe National Project Noel is the delivery system set up to distribute gifts allocated to the Oklahoma United Methodist Church by an anonymous outside source for children in need in communities across the state.

Project Noel Altus is a community-wide project whose main purpose is to provide Christmas gifts for needy children age birth to high school seniors in Jackson County. The distribution is housed in the Family Life Center of First United Methodist Church Altus and is partnered by area churches, DHS, Stride Rite Corporation, and many private and corporate members of our community.

Our partnership with McCubbin Hosiery initially began in 2008 through the help of StrideRite Corp. They have faithfully helped Project Noel Altus put very high quality, cozy warm socks on the little toes of thousands of children in southwest Oklahoma. We are humbled by this Oklahoma based company's generosity! Help us thank McCubbin Hosiery for their continued support by purchasing their socks and hosiery throughout the year.
